Assembly of the Association of Insurance Companies in the Federation of BiH held the 88th session on April 23, 2018 in Sarajevo. The Activity report of the Association of Insurance Companies in the F BiH for 2017 and the Financial report for 2017 were adopted. On the basis of the sugestions of the Board of Directors of UDOFBiH, several decisions were adopted, among other things, on covering the realized surplus of expenditures on the basis of the accumulated surplus of revenues from previous years; on Amendments to the Orientation Budget of the Association of Insurance Companies in F BiH for the period from 01.01. until 31.12.2018. and the decision on the membership fee for 2018. By adopting a decision on amendments to the Decision on the appointment of the president and two deputy chairmen of the Assembly, a rotation took place in the capacity of the President of the Assembly. Mr. Fikret Hodzic, President of the Management Board of Grawe osiguranje d.d. Sarajevo, after a successful first year of the mandate, succeeded Mr. Brinio Jarcevic, President of the Management Board of Brcko-Gas Insurance for the Federation of BiH. On the basis of the same decision, for the deputy president of the Assembly was chosen Ms. Sabina Mujanovic, Director of Merkur BH Insurance, who should perform the function of the President of the Assembly in the next year of the mandate.
Among other things, the Assembly also adopted information on the conducted conclusions from the sessions of the Assembly and the Board of Directors of the association, as well as information on the implementation of the Association’s Memorandum and the Measures of the Insurance Supervision Agency of F BiH. Through its conclusions, the highest body of UDOFBiH expressed the expectation that in the regulation of the market, the Insurance Supervision Agency of F BiH will use all available instruments and remained on its previous commitment to move the focus of activities and initiatives on voluntary types of insurance in order to complete this market segment. Every aspect of cooperation with the Association of Insurance Companies of the RS is supported in order to have a more serious impact on the market and compliance with laws, by-laws and Measures of both insurance market regulators through a joint action.
