At the session of the General Assembly of the  “Insurance Europe” held on May 22, 2019. In Bucharest, Association of insurance companies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been admitted to the associated membership of this European association. The members of Insurance Europe are national associations of insurers from 34 countries and represent companies with about 95% of total European insurance premiums and directly employ over 950,000 people. As an Associate Member of the Insurance Europe UDO FBiH will become a member of the family within which will be able to connect with representatives of the European high-level insurance industry, which includes direct cooperation with other insurance associations in Europe, with representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission, as and information and publications related to the latest developments regarding European insurance market regulations, with regular updates. Secretary General of the Association, Ermin Čengić, who attended the 11th annual conference “Insurance Europe”, said that this is a significant step forward for the largest B&H. professional association of insurers in order to monitor standards and align with market rules as they are in the developed countries of the EU.
