The Secretary General is responsible for performing the administrative and technical work of the Association and is responsible to the Assembly for his work. The Secretary General works in accordance with the legal regulations, the Statute of the Association and other general acts, conclusions, decisions, guidelines and instructions of the Assembly of the Association and the Board of directors and performs the following tasks:

• prepares the session of the Assembly,
• prepare and propose draft amendments to the Statute and other acts adopted by the Assembly,
• implements policies, conclusions and other decisions passed by the Assembly and / or the Board of directors,
• submits annual and periodic reports on its work to the Assembly for adoption,
• prepares materials for these bodies in consultation with the President of the Assembly and the Board od directors;
• participates in considering and solving the issues of the insurance system with the competent bodies and organizations;
• arranges with the chairmen of the board and the commissions preparation for the work program of the commissions and undertake measures for execution of the work program;
• organizes the preparation of materials for insurance and reinsurance conferences where representatives of the Association are taking part;
• represents the Association in its property and other legal relations with the prior approval of the Board of directors;
• represents the Association in media, based on the approval of the Board of directors;
• issue orders to execute the financial plan of the Association with the prior consent of the Board of directors;
• perform other tasks on the base of the Statute and other general acts, conclusions, decisions and guidelines of the Assembly and the Board of directors and the work program of the Association.
