The Association of Insurance Companies in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been involved in the procedure of adopting a new law on insurance representation and insurance and reinsurance brokerage. After the Federal Ministry of Finance submitted to the Association the draft version of this Law, discussions were held within the members of the Association and the Legal Affairs Committee, and the Board of directors of the Association accepted the final version of the Proposal of Amendment to the Draft Law on representation in insurance and insurance and reinsurance brokerage and submitted it to the Federal Ministry of Finance at the end of January 2018. It is expected that the Federal Ministry of Finance as a proponent of this law in the further stages of the law making process will work closely with the Association as the interested party in terms of the final version of the law that will go to the parliamentary procedure.
